what's a girl got to do :) Go to life bookshop and get it! It's a very very good book.
This year is passing really really quickly.
somtimes i can't wait for the sixteenth of september to come and to embark on a new chapter of my life but most of the time, i wish i didn't have to grow up and have to leave home in pursuit of my dreams.
But then as we grow up, we learn that we have to make sacrifices if it would mean happiness in the end
We have to let go and trust in the wisdom of God's plan because he knows best
There's only so much that we can do and control, the rest is up to him and his will in our lives.
In the past six months, i'd say i have grown up, grown closer to God in many ways, learnt to trust in him, and he has never failed me. Time and time again when i let myself down, he never let me down.
In Christ Alone, i place my trust.
Been catching up with alot of people recently. And i've realised that everyone around me has become a lot more mature this year. Maybe it's leaving school and entering the world. Or maybe we're just growing up so fast.
I can't believe we're almost twenty! It just seems like yesterday we entered secondary school/jc. Now all that seems like distant memories.
It's actually quite sad to see how we've left behind big dreams of yesterday, our innocence, our naive thinking, our child like faith in the things and people around us. We've seen the worst, we've opened our eyes to the world. We've all learnt the hard way that the perfect life/world doesn't exist. We've learnt that some poems don't rhyme, just like some stories don't have a perfect ending. We've left behind the illusion we used to live in.
We're going up.
Too fast.
But we're all in it together
and that's what matters :)
